Service Overview
Consent and Intake Form
When a client is new the the Lamination service they need to fill out a consent form to assess if they are a good candidate for the service. You will need to know how to explain this form to your client as well as interpret the answers to give them the best possible service.
Offer Allergy Test
Its not only best practices, its state law in many place that you MUST offer an allergy test. Do make sure to offer an allergy test to every client. If they refuse they can initial on their consent form that they refused the test. In that case it waives your liability and If they do have an allergy you are under no obligation to refund them. I like to explain to the client that we have never had anyone allergic but we do recommend the Allergy test. If for some reason they are allergic we do not give refunds if they refuse the test.
Clean the Brow area
Once your client has filled out the consent form and either passed the allergy test, or waived it we are ready to clean their natural brows. We are not able to asses their natural shape or look until all the makeup has been removed and its essential for the lift to get best results. Do clean with the LAshX Lash Cleanse and water as it is specifically formulated to be detergent and oil free.
Analyze and Consult
Take a mental inventory of the clients features and health and then ask a series of questions so that you can combine your suggestions with their wishes for the optimal results.
Document
Once your clients brows are clean you will want to document any notes about their facial features, skin care, any thing that was checked off on the consent form that needs to be reviewed before service can begin. If there is any irregularities in the brow pattern you would also want to map that and this is where you will take a before photo.
Decide on Order of Operations
If you need to wax, tint, tweeze or trim figure out the correct order of operations for that client.
